Sorry for your loss, Bec. It's lovely that you got to say goodbye and that your father's ordeal was a relatively short one- from sad experience I can tell you that is a great blessing. All the best to you and your family.

Once again thank you all for your kind words and thoughts....I think what also brings us much peace is the knowledge that Dad did not suffer too much. When I read about pancreatic cancer we were all terrified that Dad would be in agony, so as Annis said it is a blessing that he did not reach the stage of total agony.
