Thanks for all the good wishes, folks. As for the cover, I was nervous about the lightning bolt--that it wouldn't be taken seriously by historical fiction readers. But on the other hand, there's a lot of kemetic fantasy in my work, so that might be a good signal to expect some magic threaded into the history.
