Our new arrivals! (Kittens!)

Post by stu1883 » Tue September 20th, 2011, 5:35 pm

I thought I would post this picture showing you our new kittens, which we picked up from a local cat sanctuary last night.

The tabby boy is called Boomer at the moment, and Nicki is thinking of a new name for him.

I have been tasked with renaming the female who is currently called Fidget. Her markings are really unusual, she has a black body with the exception of a small white patch on her chest, yet her tail is almost completely silver with black stripes running through it.

At the moment I am considering calling her Badger! If any of you have suggestions I am all ears. Thanks everyone.

Our newest pair -- well, not so new any more! -- are Sophie and Phantom. Phantom got his name as he promptly hid from us in the basement for two days, and also because he was solid grey; Sophie when I first met her simply 'told' me her name, as it were. She was this beautiful, dainty little thing with the sweetest face -- the shelter had named her Stacy, but that name just did not seem to fit at all.

Gorgeous! I have two cats, one of whom is black. We call him Harry (as in Harry Potter) and the other one is called Hermione who is black and white!
