I found this site through Facebook and now get daily feeds on their updates. They're currently having a run on articles to do with William the Conqueror. They don't write the articles themselves, but find them in academic publications (so it seems) and link to them. They cover a wide variety of topics.

Their archived articles go back to September 2008.

Thanks, yes, that is one of the sites I used to find info. Very cool place. I love how it's organized. Simple and tidy. It mixes dry fact with fun.
