No stranger to controversy, Mel Gibson has stirred up outrage in the Jewish community with his proposed new project. Mel, infamous for his drunken anti-semitic invective, is considering a movie about legendary Jewish hero, Judah Maccabee.

Ugh. That's one actor I will not support any more -- I dread to see what he does to that story!

His personal life is a mess, but he's talented. Has it occurred to anyone that maybe he's trying to make up for his anti-semitic tirades by making a movie with a Jewish hero? Not saying it would be a successful strategy, but if he's realized he has a problem there's a possibility of his getting better.

I used to be a fan of Mel's but not any more, he's antics have just soured me against him for life.
