Sad to hear that Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Andy Whitfield has lost his battle with cancer:

Very sad news. Such a handsome man. Much too young to die.

That's a lovely tribute, Ben. I don't normally enjoy shows like this as I don't particularly enjoy blood and gore, but my husband likes them! And I have to say I couldn't take my eyes off Andy - he played the part very well and gave it his all. It helped that he was very handsome, too! :o It's sad when anyone dies, but when they are so young and very talented, it's even sadder. I think he could've gone on to 'great and fortunate things'.

I hope you don't mind but I'm going to post a link to your tribute on Andy Whitfield's Memorial page on Facebook - I'm sure his fans would love to read it. Thanks.

So sad! He was a great guy, a good actor, and was much too young to die. :(
