Yes, I think he's a Westie. The white ones are Westies and the black Scotties. Scotties always remind me of the film 'Lady and the Tramp'. Cute little dogs.

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Padfoot is a Westie and Scottie's remind you of Lady and the Tramp because Jack was a Scotty! Ha!
He is pretty much past the chewing stage. We give him lots of bones so that pretty much keeps him occupied! We've started to leave him out of his crate for a few hours everyday when we aren't home and so far so good. When he broke out of his crate at about 3 months, he took all of my shoes from my closet and deposited them in one big pile in the living room. This was before he had mastered the stairs so it was a big surprise for me to come home and find my shoes that were upstairs, downstairs in our living room. He was so proud of himself though it was hard to be mad!
He makes my world complete! How could I not love coming home to this everyday??! Thanks everyone for the love, he would bask in it!

Yes, I loved Lady and the Tramp as a child. I could still watch it now!
