Killer Angels Trivia

Post by Raymond » Wed August 10th, 2011, 12:14 am

Michael Shaara wrote The Killer Angels, he also wrote For the Love of the Game (made into an awesome movie starring Kevin Costner).

For those familiar with For the Love of the Game, there is a bit of a tie in with Michael Shaara's Killer Angels.

There is a scene in which Billy Chapel (Costner) boards a plane. Before he sits, there is a brief glimpse of a book he is reading. Wanna guess the titlle of the book?

Killer Angels. Jeff Shaara confirmed it for me.

It's always fun when authors put little connecting references like this in their novels and you get to enjoy an aha! moment :)
