Hello from Brooklyn!

Thanks for approving my membership. I work with many talented historical fiction authors, coordinating blog tours. I am quite sure a few are on this forum :) I love to keep up with new historical fiction releases, and also will try to let you know every once in a while when there are giveaways of great titles as I've noticed there is a thread for that.

I am also a writer myself, though I tend to focus on non fiction. I have always been fascinated with objects from the past, which probably explains why I collect so many things! Historical fiction is no exception, I love to experience other eras. Thanks for letting me introduce myself.

Diane

Welcome, Diane! I enjoy reading historic nonfiction as well. What are some books you've written, and/or would recommend?

Hope I'm replying to you all correctly, been a while since I was on a forum.

Faith! Small world. Great to see you here. Kris is having a special event in Sept, if you'd like more info I can message you on FB.

Oh, I haven't written any books. Articles mostly on topics like women's right and also Finnish-American subjects.

Thanks again!

Diane

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area
