Susanna Kearsley and looking for a book

Post by anne whitfield » Tue July 26th, 2011, 11:24 am

I just finished reading The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley and again enjoyed another book by this author.
It's a time travel, but done in her excellent style, which makes it easily believable.

It also makes me think of a book I read about 25 years ago which was time travel, but I can't remember the title or author. All I remember was that they were re-thatching a cottage and a ring was found in the roof, when the hero/heroine (can't remember which) slipped the ring on they traveled back in time.
Anyone know it?

I'm sure I've heard of this book but can't remember what it is! Hope someone knows as it's bugging me.
