2011 Tony Award Winners

Post by SonjaMarie » Mon June 13th, 2011, 5:31 pm

For those interested:

On a bittersweet note for one of the winners:
In 2009 Norbert Leo Butz, who won for Lead Performance for "Catch Me If You Can", was in Seattle doing trials for the musical. His sister Teresa also lived near Seattle and during that time was brutally murdered. He mentioned her in his speech:
“This is for my father, (whom) I based this character on, and for my sister,” he said. “I love you Teresa. We remember you every night.”
