I recently did an interview for author J. Sydney Jones' first-rate Scene of the Crime blog. I get to keep company with major historical crime authors such as Philip Kerr (a favorite), Kelli Stanley and Rebecca Cantrell among others. You can it find it here.
J. Sydney Jones has an outstanding historical mystery series set in 1900-era Vienna, starting with The Empty Mirror. His novels are well worth checking out.
