Let's Hope They Thoroughly Cleaned It! EWW!

Post by SonjaMarie » Fri April 22nd, 2011, 8:09 pm

Still reading "1000 Years of Annoying the French" and this bit made me go "EWWW". When the English were forcing King Joseph Bonaparte out of Spain among the things captured from in luggage was a chamber pot. Apparently it is used today to drink Champagne out of in a regiment's mess hall and then put on drinker's head after each toast.

GROSS!

Boys will be boys.
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info
