Guidelines and Additions
Any author who belongs to this forum is free to list his or her book here. Just add a post to this thread with the information below, and we'll add it to our master list here.
To add your book, please give us: the era/century your book is set in; the title of your book (and alternative English-language titles if they exist); your author name with your forum name in parenthesis if they're different; and a brief description (25 words or less) of your book. The description should be strictly factual ("a biographical novel about Attila the Hun") and should not contain puffery ("the best novel about Attila the Hun ever written"), quotes from reviews, or quotes from blurbs. You can include one link--your website, your Amazon page, etc.
Here's a sample of how a listing for a historical novel should look like:
15th Century/Wars of the Roses
Susan Higginbotham (boswellbaxter), The Queen of Last Hopes: The Story of Margaret of Anjou. A biographical novel about Margaret of Anjou, queen to England's Henry VI.
If you've written a book that's not a historical novel, please just give us the genre/subject ("Reference Book" or "Finance" or "Contemporary Fiction") and a description of the book.
Only books written by HFO members should be added to this list. Members are welcome to add other members' books to the list, but please make sure it's OK with the member in question.

Thanks. Please add the link: http://www.FireOnDarkWater.com
I recently finished The Queen of Last Hopes. I'm a big fan of Shakespeare's Richard III so was fascinated by your portrayal of Margaret. It made me research and rethink a lot of the history I took for granted! Nice work.
