What seems amazing to me is that we have all these TV channels and I still struggle to find something that is actually interesting. So many channels seem dedicated to trash  re the 'reality shows'...Whole networks are flooded with these awful 'fly on the wall reality shows' :rolleyes:I find them mind boggling boring.

I will probably re-watch Cranford, Downtown, Lost in Austen etc. But I will be ordering the DVD sets of Silk Season 2..and Damages Season 4.

Bec :) PS: But I will SO miss GOT when we finally see the finale in 2 weeks :(

Hi Bec, I gather you're in Australia? We have the same problem here, too much reality TV and makeover shows; I don't mind some of the property shows but they all get to look the same after a while! I'll also miss GoT; we've got a new series of Big Brother about to start - oh the joy - plus the Euro football for 3 weeks, then Wimbledon and then the Olympics. So I'll probably be watching re-runs of CSI, Law and Order etc....sob!

lol Madeleine :p
I feel your pain. I hate sports TV, yes even football!!! I make such a bad Aussie!....but>>>*slaps my forehead* NOT 'Big Brother' I detest, hate, loathe and despise that show...poor you :( .

I also like some property shows my favourites being Grand Designs and I love 'Escape to the Country.' I also watch Location, Location, Location. I don't mind them, but I hate shows like that awful Toddlers and Tiara's(something like that?) I think the parents should be up for child abuse and I have never watched a single episode of the Kardashains(what do these girls but shop, bicker, get married, get divorced, shop and bicker?) :p

I shall be inconsolable when GOT finishes :( :(...A year is such a long wait.....*sighs*. But there are always my TBR book list :D .

yes I think I'll be headed back to the books too.

Also just finished watching the latest Scandinavian crime drama, The Bridge, which was excellent. So there's another hole in the TV schedules now! And there'll be another one next week, when Desperate Housewives finishes for ever.

I watched the final episode of GOT lastnight and I had tears in my eyes at Tyrions plight. You have to applaud Peter Dinklage, the pain in his eyes, what a marvelous actor. I also wonder what Stannis saw in that fire?!

I will look forward to series three which will probably focus on Jaimie/Brienne....Cersei VS Maegery....Arya and Bran and where their journey takes them and I pray to goodness that Tyrion will be in it...As for Dany/Jorah, I hope they don't do the wandering the desert again, but then again now they're loaded. :D

Dany's Vision
Now I have to find something else to watch on Tuesdays :( and there isn't that much out there.

As of Book 5, we don't know yet about that particular vision. In the novel, though, Dany saw/heard several other things of great importance.

Hmmmm is that a hint?
IIRC, that particular vision was
the empty throne after the massacre of her family,
but its been a while and I could be wrong.

This is where I am going to have to re-read the books in that I skimmed Dany and some of Arya chapters. I will do so closer to the third season next year. But I do know what to expect in season 3 concerning other pertinent characters :( ....I wonder how many seasons of GOT there will be considering Martin hasn't finished his epic?

Thanks Ash I will find those chapters and read them.

Watched the last ep last night and it was fab as ever, but definitely setting things up for the next series. I loved it when
I'm also amused at the row over the "severed head" which looks like George W Bush.
