Last night we had cottage pie and green veg. I'm just about to boil myself a couple of duck eggs which we came home from the local pub with the other day! The do take some boiling!

Thought I would try the local Indian takeaway so having some kind of prawn curry and rice with naan. It's quite tasty.

I was busy today and tried three new recipes!
One was rotisserie style chicken cooked in the slow cooker (never thought of cooking a whole chicken before), cauliflower gratin (aka cauliflower cheese - making the cheese sauce from scratch which I had never done before) and for dessert Berry Meringue smash - white chocolate, broken up meringue, cream and berries. Yum!
And the best part is that cooking all that was nowhere near as stressful as I find cooking for guests!
