RIP Elizabeth Taylor

Post by SonjaMarie » Wed March 23rd, 2011, 5:08 pm

Elizabeth has died today of congestive heart failure. She was an incredible woman and actress. May she rest in peace!

She lead quite an eventful life, and hope she rests peacefully in the next one.

She's kickin up her heels in the next one. :D

She was a very striking woman. If I only had a 1/4 of her beauty.

Two movies of hers I saw: "Raintree County" and (part of) "Cleopatra" I'm sure one of the movie channels will show her movies at some point.

I read earlier that a Anti-Gay Church is planning to picket Elizabeth's funeral, how rude and crude!

That's awful. Not very Christian at all!

She was such a beauty in her youth. If there is an after life, she'll probably be arguing but reuniting with Richard Burton now!! :)

I think she and Richard Burton made a striking couple, even though they were so tempestuous! I'd like to think they're reunited now :) What a beautiful woman.

Westboro Baptist Church? They're complete nutters. They're protesting at all sorts of things and none of it has any logic.

I guess there aren't that many left that were part of her generation in Hollywood.

I must have seen Giant at least a dozen times as a kid, nearly every time they showed it on tv. And who can forget Ivanhoe?
