Hello there

Actually blame Sarah Woodbury for my showing up. She had mentioned the forum to me a couple of times, so I thought I'd pop in. I am a lover of history and have one historical novel I published indie called Freedom's Sword set in 1296 Scotland.

Other than that... let's see. I live in Oregon now, but I'm not a native. I tend to be fairly passionate about history, particularly the Scottish variety and read a lot of non-fiction about it. My favorite non-fiction author is GWS Barrow.

And that's all I can think of. :)

Welcome, JR!

You may well have heard of it already, but Robert Low (seasoned Viking author) has a new book coming out. It's also set in 1296 in Scotland, and features Wallace and Robert the Bruce et al. I've already had the privilege of reading it, and it's excellent!
