glad everyone is ok, I know as a mother there are times I just cringe fore I know something bad will come out of whatever the girls are into. Thank goodness for instincts.

LoveHistory glad to hear you were able to keep calm in that situation! I know that my daughter once went head first down the stairs, she was okay too, but I think it took me longer to recover from the shock and guilt than it did for her to. Hope all is well,
Andrea

That happened to my daughter as well when she was a bout 6 months old - I do think it's probably worse for the parent than for the child. We did take her in to get checked out and I remember thinking that someone was going to think I had abused her. The doctor told me to relax and that if children didn't have some bumps and bruises and stuff by the time they were two then the parents were being too protective. She had a big goose egg on her forhead for several days and the carpet scraped the skin off her nose.

I've discovered Colorado has great big mosquitos - just like in the midwest. For some reason I didn't think they had them out here.

I've spent far too much money this weekend. :( Yesterday I bought a leather jacket and today a new camera.

Thank god it's tax return time. :)

some anonymous 'friend' just sent me a newspaper clipping of the former love of my life (we were together off and on for eight plus years) at a society event with the 'new' woman in his life. It's kind of a dual pain -- that someone would want to make me feel bad, and that they succeeded. It's been a few years since I've seen him, and even when months go by without my thinking about him, blam. I'm going to end up like Catherine of Aragon if I'm not careful, weeping over my stitching (or writing) in a damp manor house somewhere.

my arm is killing me. If it doesnt get better by the end of the week I get the dreaded shot in the bone.

My pool is a horrid shade of green. I swear I'll never go swimming this year.

Oh, Chatterbox, that's unusually cruel and I'm very sorry. What a jerk. Maybe it was the new woman trying to assert her place, because what sort of terrible friend would do that? That's incredibly mean.

And Divia, I hope you're feeling better!

Sounds like some sort of bunny boiler who has sent you that, Chatterbox! Forget it - they've obviously not got much else to do with their time. They sound a very sad individual to do something like that.

Hope your arm is feeling better, Divia.
