Sorry to hear of your loss, MLE. My aunt died of lung cancer so I know how nasty it can be. I can't understand why anyone would want to smoke, especially as it is proven what a killer it is.

And you never know what's round the corner, Nefret...... your friend may change their mind again one day. But in the meantime, try not to dwell on it and go out and enjoy your life.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.

According to one study of brain patterns and behaviors, 4% of the US population is sociopathic. (lacking developed conscience. the EEG is non-complex, like that of a toddler.) They reason like adults, but their world is completely ego-centric. That's what it took to pull off this stunt.
