My five year old (the aggressive one) is sick and must stay home. Looks like a variety of flu that's traversing the school. 17 kids got sent home yesterday on top of the ones who were out sick already. He stayed home yesterday due to a staff meeting about how to make school successful for him on a half-day basis. Started coughing last night and woke up with a fever this morning. Hopefully he'll be better by his birthday.
We expect it to make the rounds through the family. So tired and my back is killing me. There's no therapy on sick days, so we're on our own for a while.

*Cries* That magazine company that hit my account last Aug hit me again this time for $55! I had to call my bank and get my card cancelled again! So now I have to wait for a new card and change my number on my accounts yet again! Seems like every time I use my card at certain places in Tacoma this happens. Next time if I go I'm using cash!

Now I feel stupid. This charge was actually attached to my Entertainment Weekly subscription. Apparently it was through a magazine site that renewed automatically and didn't ask me if I wanted it renewed or not! I don't even remember ordering through this particular site. So I cancelled the subscription so that it won't try to charge me again.
In this day and age with ID theft you can't be too careful, but damn wish I figured this out before I cancelled my card

Last year I was working hard to lose weight and well I let it slip about 6-7 months ago and have gained over half of it back and today i saw a video/picture taken of me about two weeks ago.
. HOLY COW! I so didn't realize how unhealthy I am/look until I saw those. Something has got to change and I'm the only one that can do it but darn I like my midnight hershey chocolate while reading. So, so long my double cheeseburgers and so long my chocolate reeses cups and goodbye my secret love of theater popcorn, I will miss you but not the reflection in the mirror!

Nona that sucks. I am in a similar sistuation. I was like YIKES.
Love, hopefully everyone makes a speedy recovery.
For me its Monday and thats about it.

I actually got close to my goal weight a few months ago. Then things got difficult again and I found out that I really like ice cream sandwiches. Had to buy new jeans and found I needed a size larger than the old ones.
Not buying the ice cream sandwiches helps but it's gonna take a while. Why is it that losing weight takes longer than gaining weight does?

Someone said to me once that it takes a long time to put on so it will take a long time for the weight to come off.
Ummm, I find that theory flawed. I seem to be able to put on 5 pounds by having a "bad day."
Some kids were lippy today which added to the annoyance of the day.

I had a fabulous weekend away, and then, well, then I got home.
It appears that I have yet again had unwelcome visitors in my home. I now have a broken lock on my back security screen, plus a broken window in my son's room
Nothing stolen as far as I can tell, which again, makes me think it is kids, especially seeing as whoever was here had time to sit around and have a couple of drinks out of my fridge and leave the empty containers lying around on my kitchen counter.
Waiting for the police to arrive now because this is now the fourth or fifth incident in the last six months. Have been waiting for a while now.
