Any Latin Lovers?

Post by Rowan » Mon February 14th, 2011, 4:18 pm

I've begun rehearsals for a local production of The Sound of Music as a nun. Most of the singing is (naturally) in Latin and I'm wondering if any one here could possibly translate some of the words for me. I've tried some of the translators online, but the free ones don't work very well. I just want to know what I'm saying. ;)

My Latin's pretty rusty these days, but I see someone else has had this problem, so here is the Q&A relating to that query which might also help you:

My Latin is pretty rusty, too, but I'll give it a shot if you want.

Hey, don't feel like that, Rowan! It's my job to find stuff, so I get lots of practice at it :)

I bow down to your research skills annis, but I should've guessed that I am not the only idiot on the planet who doesn't know Latin, yet wants to know what those particular words mean.
