Hello from (sorta sunny) SoCal

Hello! What an amazing forum. So many terrific resources, and so much rich knowledge here. I wish I had discovered it back when I was writing my debut novel (set against the backdrop of the belly dancing scandal at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair).

Better late than never, though, right?

When I'm not Internet surfing (read: procrastinating), I'm working on my second novel (about a fictional vaudeville theater in 1907 New York) and reading everything I can get my hands on about Florenz Ziegfeld and other theatrical managers of that era.
DANCING AT THE CHANCE, love and vaudeville in Old New York (Berkley/April)
THE BELLY DANCER, a novel of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair (Berkley/out now)
