Same here, OZ sure has faced some tough things in the last couple of years. Fires, floods and now this.
At home with a good book and the cat...

Reports this morning are that no human lives were lost last night in Queensland, which is a miracle and such great news. I thought I'd post this link as it was a bit of nice news.

I saw the radar of this cyclone (which would be called a hurricane in the US) and it sure looked scary! Glad to hear that there was no loss of life.

BTW, why is it called a cyclone there, and a hurricane here? I assume the words have two different origins?
