Why was the Hailee from True Grit listed as supporting actress, and not as actress?
She's been nominated as Supporting Actress in all of the ones I've seen so far. Don't know why that is as I haven't seen the film (or read the book). But in the earlier film it did seem like that was a supporting role and Rooster Cogburn was the "star."

I think it does fall into "supporting actress" because of her age and role . . . and who would want to go up against Portman's stella performance anyway?!!
