Interesting question came up in another forum - can you think of at least one movie for each ruler of England from the Conquest to today?
Here's one list that was developed:
Henry II Lion in Winter
Henry VIII Man for all Seasons
Elizabeth 1: Elizabeth (Cate Blanchett)
James I: The New World (Jonathan Pryce)
Charles I: Cromwell (Alec Guinness)
Cromwell: Cromwell (Richard Harris)
Richard Cromwell: Cromwell (Anthony May)
Charles II: The Libertine (John Malkovich) or Restoration (Sam Neill),
James II: The Man Who Laughs (Same De Grasse),
Mary II: Orlando (Sarah Crowden)
Anne The Man Who Laughs (Josephine Crowell)
George I: Saraband For Dead Lovers (George Bull)
George II: King of the Wind (Richard Harris)
George III: The Madness of King George III (Nigel Hawthorne) as well as a billion others
George IV: The Madness of King George III (Rupert Everett);
William IV: Young Victoria
Victoria: Take your pick. Young Victoria, Mrs. Brown (Judi Dench), the "Tooth and Claw" episode of Doctor Who (a lovely performance by Pauline Collins) and a lot others.
Edward VII: Mrs. Brown (David Westhead)
George V: The Kings Speech
Edward VIII: The Kings Speech (Guy Pearce)
George VI: The Kings Speech (Colin Firth)
Elizabeth II: The Queen (Helen Mirren)
Henry I? Wm the Conqueror? Stephen? John? Any of the Richards? Edward I? Henry VII? Mary I? Mmmm...
Ironic that Helen Mirren does both Elizabeths!

Richard III starring Laurance Olivier or Ian McKellan. (also has Henry VII)
I'm sure there are film versions of Shakespeare's Henrys.
Any Robin Hood film for John and Richard I.
I'd like to add The Lost Prince for George V.
Isn't Edward the II in Braveheart? Or am I mixing up my Edwards?
Mary I is in Elizabeth.
Edward VI is in The Prince and the Pauper.

Edward I and Edward II (or facsimiles thereof) are in Braveheart.
Edward II and Edward III are in Derek Jarman's Edward II, a loose adaptation of the Christopher Marlowe play Edward the Second.
If TV adaptations are acceptable, there is a televised version of Edward II starring Ian McKellan and numerous televised versions of Shakespeare's history plays.
There's a mini-series about Henry VII, recently released on DVD, called The Shadow of the Tower.
Edward VI, Lady Jane Grey, and Mary I are in Lady Jane.

Kenneth Branagh does a fab job of an inspirational Henry in the movie adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry V
Peter O'Toole played Henry II twice- for both Becket and Lion in Winter
Doesn't Richard I appear in both Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven and Robin Hood?
There was a TV film about William the Conqueror with Brian Blessed as Hereward the Wake-- Blood Royal, I think it was called.
Nearly forgot the TV movie, 1066, which features William the Conqueror and King Harold II
