Interest in HF: I love history, but it's boring in school. Historical fiction brings it alive for me.

Switching to that buy it now crap is defeating the whole purpose of eBay. Maybe Ubid will become more popular now and eBay will decline and they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Personally, I like Buy It Now when the price is reasonable--no worrying about being sniped. But I bid on items as well.

I Hope that someone becomes strong enough to compete with ebay. I mean they have a monopoly on th emarket and it sickening. THey can do whatever they want.
