College Basketball?

Post by wendy » Tue January 18th, 2011, 1:53 pm

Are there any other college basketball fans out there?
I'm generally not much into watching sports but I never miss a Blue Devil's game. Saw them live at Cameron Stadium last week and it was awesome. Go Duke!

I've never been into basketball in general, but much less so with college hoops.

Plus I don't get TV. Sorry I can't commiserate with you.

We used to take our kids to women's basketball games because they were fairly inexpensive and were easy to get into. At one game I showed up in my opposing-team sweatshirt and got a personal visit from the Blue Devil himself, who pointed significantly at the scoreboard.

I've always been a Phx Suns fan, since they started. We used to watch games at the old 'madhouse on McDowell' for $2 a seat. I also have long been a fan of the Az Wildcats; unfortunately since coach Frank Snowden left, I've lost interest.

I'm not much for watching these days and this is slightly OT, but I just watched this and thought I'd share some video of one very talented young man, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPkalNFudIA

Thanks Misfit. I hope Coach K has signed him up!

Thanks for that, I don't normally follow much in the world of basketball - only caught Jordan's bit on the local news yesterday. Pretty amazing kids, aren't they?
