It makes sense to me Alisha. Why should 20-somethings be relegated to books that are a) full of teenagers, b) full of older adults to whom they can't relate, or c) chick-lit that's mostly about shoes, shopping, and sex? Why not add a sub-genre or niche market for a large demographic group with disposable income?
That in itself might be your pitch.
