For people who don't actually read the books in their houses:

Now if we could only pair up these folks with the money to buy silver wrappings for all the books in their home library with the folks who write the books and arrange to get better pay for authors!
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info

Interesting. I felt like pelting paperbacks at that designer who was complaining about books being rebound for aesthetic reasons.

At first I was a bit concerned about this, but after reading the article I have to say that after I win the lottery I'll be contacting Mr. Wine as well. I think I'll organize my beautiful faux leather bound books by color. Each region of the world and subject will have its own color. Might go with purple for prose. :D

I actually know someone who chooses her daughter's reading material based on the color of the book's cover. They have to be green to match the child's bedroom walls! Scary - but unfortunately true.

Wendy, I think that lady should seriously consider allowing complimentary colors as well so her daughter doesn't get bored.

Eek! The upside of this is that when she goes through a teenage rebellion, she might not choose sex or drugs, but mismatching books.
