I enjoyed this (sad, though)- I found it by accident after another poster here recommended Susan Curran's Mouse God to me - a story about the negelected women of the Trojan War. I liked that and investigated to see if Curran had written any other HF and discovered Heron's Catch. As far as I can tell SC hasn't written any other HF.Bought The Heron's Catch by Susan Curran, a novel about the early career of William de la Pole.

Thanks to a little used buying spree, plus a book 'n' lunch swap last weekend with Michele I've picked up a few goodies.
Coal Baron by Carol Wensby-Scott (Annis, cover and blurb up at Goodreads)
Proud Conquest also by Carol Wensby-Scott
Stealing Heaven Madeline Hunter (a win from Emery Lee's FB anniversary bash)
When the Splendor Falls Laurie McBain (Civil War romance)
Love's Bright Flame Sheila Holland (this may be another of those Eleanor books)
Pearl of China Anchee Min (win from LT)
Plus a big pile 'o' stuff from Michele topped off with a very old copy of Angelique, I'd obtained the rest of the series via swap and she sprung for this so we now have the entire series. Woohoo.
