In the mail today:

However I am not too happy with BWB as the first 2 are hardcovers without a dustjacket. Which means I will have to buy the same copies again as I really don't like books without dustjackets. :( Call me strange if you like. :p
I'm the same Veronica, if I've bought a hardback book I really prefer a nice dustwrapper :)

I am in NYC and right around the corner from a huge B&N! So of course I had to check things out. I picked up Susanna Kearsley's "The Winter Sea." This is my first of her reads, but I am engrossed so far.
I also picked up Anya Seton's "The Mistletoe and Sword" and Devil water."
Finally, I needed Bernard Cornwell's 5th in the Saxon series "The Burning Land."
The hubby of course had to ask why I was buying books that are more expensive than at home. My response is " I don't need a reason to buy books but if you must know, this store is way cooler than the one at home!" :D

Did you find a cheap copy or did you have to pay the high price for it? I have it on my Amazon WL, but unless it comes way down in price, I doubt I'll ever get it.
