I mostly enjoyed Anne of Green Gables. I admit, it read a little slow to me and it wasn't one that I was eager to pick up in between reading sessions. I think, had I read this at age 8, 9, or 10, I would've enjoyed it more. Sometimes reading children's classics as an adult makes you love them even more. Sometimes not. lol I admit, I mostly picked this up b/c so many of my fellow reader friends gasp in horror when I admit that I never read this series.

I'd still give it 3 stars, b/c I understand what makes these books so well-loved. And I'll most likely give the next book in the series a shot.
Currently reading: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
