Im waiting to buy the Google eBook, because you can access books from independent bookstores, and don't have to rely on Amazon. No need to buy a new gizmo, you can read on your desktop, laptop, tablet, iPad, iPhone, Droid, Nook, Sony Reader, or any other dedicated reading device (except Kindle). So not only will I be able to get into the digital age, but I'll have more access to ebooks and be able to support my indie bookstore as well.
