I didn't know where to post this information, but thought that this was probably the best thread.
Today I went to the King Tut exhibit in NYC. I urge any one of you who lives close to the area to try to get into see this fascinating exhibit. I have seen many other Egyptian artifacts, but nothing that even comes close to matching the artifacts in this exhibit in condition, in detail, and in opulence.
Michelle, I thought of you. I'm not sure if you are aware (you probably are) that there is recent DNA evidence matching Tut with Akhenaten. It is now believed with a high degree of certainty that Tut was indeed the son of Akhenaten by one of his minor wives. With that in mind, the exhibit planners walked viewers through the lives of Tut's great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents before revealing the treasures from his tomb. All the major players from Michelle's Nefertiti book were represented.
As an unrelated footnote, I met one of the most loved children's author/illustrators today, Chris Van Allsburg. He was incredibly interesting and a very gracious signer.

On another site it says it goes through the 17th.
Hmm. Looks like I can't see it now. I can't make it to NYC by Jan 2nd and I sure as hell can't make it to Denver.
