Annis - thanks for the link to that interesting blod, which I've not seen before. I'm pretty sure that I have all the ancient sources - at 4000 words in total, it's unfortunately not difficult to compile, but I'll double check there.

I very much enjoyed it. My "muse" in the form of a book was Hypatia of Alexandria by Maria Dzielska. I couldn't have written my novel without it!
