Internet Movie Database has Jonathan Frid, David Selby, Lara Parker, and Kathryn Leigh Scott in the cast. They must be in cameo roles: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1077368/fullcredits#cast
If it's set in early 70s, why does Angelique look like she's in more modern clothes? Maybe that's what the snippet meant by time travel.
Is Angelique in the photo? Isn't the blonde in the front Michelle Pfeiffer? She plays Elizabeth Stoddard.

That would be worth it to see the cameos. Frid must be very old, he was rather aged in the interviews they included with the DVD's a few years ago. Too bad there's no sign of Kate Jackson, although she comes in a the very end of the series anyway.

Frid is 87 and according to IMDB, hasn't done any acting since 1974. David Selby played a lawyer in The Social Network and has acted over the years.

Wasn't David Selby on Falconcrest? He really was quite a scene stealer in the old DS series. The werewolf stuff was a bit OTT, but otherwise he got all of the best lines (except for when Willie Loomis was on screen).

Sure was! Loved him in that, it was one of my must-not miss shows back in the early/mid-80s.

I just saw that on FB. I'm thinking they haven't stuck very close to the original storylines.
