Thanks for posting that article Princess Garnet, it's quite difficult to find a lot of detail on Jean Plaidy's life and I found that that article had a few titbits I hadn't read before :) For me personally I love the dryness of Jean Plaidy and the old fashioned style of her writing, I'd prefer her any day over PG. I'd like to think she was just a prolific writer who lived for her work and outsourced some of her research.
