I'd like to join in. Another way is to use your mobile phone to take a picture of the card and then download it that way. I've done that with photos before now.

So is anyone interested? If so, is anyone willing to collect and assign names?[/quote]
Great idea. I'm in and I am willing to collect and assign names.
But, I think there is a way to do it that doesn't involve me having to make a master list of everyone's addresses, which I'm not sure I have the time to do.
1. Have a deadline for people to post here if they want to participate. I suggest Friday 19 November - this will allow time to sort out who sends to who over the weekend, and people can post the cards the following week.
2. I will keep a running list of participants on this thread.
3. I'll assume everyone is happy to post overseas as it's only postcards - if you're not, do say.
4. On Monday 22 November at the latest I will post the list of who is sending to who. It will look like this:
A sends to B
B sends to C
C sends to D
D sends to E
E sends to F
F sends to G
G sends to A
This will work for either an odd or even number of participants. It will then be up to the participants to PM each other with their addresses.
This does take away the surprise of knowing who will send you something so it's not quite like Secret Santa, but there is the surprise of what the card will look like! And then I will start another thread for sharing scanned/photographed images.
What does everyone think?

This will be fun. A small group of us at Goodreads sent post cards to each other and we had a good time with it. Belgium, France, Canada and Brazil. I can help you with the addresses if you want, I should have the whole week off next week if they don't pull me back to work again (having a hard time using up my vacation days...)
At home with a good book and the cat...
...is the only place I want to be

Thank you, Misfit! Hope you get to enjoy your time off.
I will post the list of participants as it stands so far later on today.
