I'm from Pennsylvania. I love the history and culture in the UK but I HATE the weather.

About 5 years now. I've kind of gotten used to the grey skies and rain - I now find myself thinking "God, that sun is annoyingly bright" whenever it's actually sunny. What's bothering me at the moment is how windy it is. Seriously, like it's not cold enough already? There has to be the added "wind chill factor"? I don't know why I even bother to do my hair!

The downfalls of living on an island! :D I must admit I do hate the wind, especially when walking the dogs over open fields as it nearly blows me over.

Welcome, Mythica! I'm sure you'll have fun here. We drive through Pennsylvania (from NY to OH and back) a couple times every year to visit family and take our daughter to school (90 min in NY/NJ, 90 min in OH and 6 HOURS in PA :eek :) I think we know every rest spot on the all the major highways running east and west! Beautiful country.
