Sorry - am I supposed to do the poll? Not sure how this all works yet!
Yes, you are ;)

Start a new thread with a poll. Scroll underneath the main "window" you are posting in and I believe that is where you'll see it. Follow through. It has been a while since I've done one so the others might have some good tips for you. IIRC you'll want to count how many options you'll need (by counting the caption entries and using to windows and/or tabs is helpful for easier copying and pasting.
At home with a good book and the cat...

Cheesy Cover Caption Round 13: "Pleasuring the Pirate"

Post by wendy » Mon November 29th, 2010, 11:27 pm

Please vote best caption for "Pleasuring the Pirate" - Sorry it has not come out in the usual Poll format - I tried three times!

Options:
1. He was born without a navel, but that time he put the sword in his belt backwards remedied the situation.
2. Once again narcolepsy ruins the moment.
3. Ah, cherie! If only I did not have to drug you to enjoy your charms.
4. As she rested her head on the pirate's shoulder, she felt her wig slip and for the thousandth time damned her ostrich blood.
5. Her peach off-the-shoulder number was not suitable, she knew, but she still couldn't wait to get her hands on his rigging.
6. She whispered,'Water, water everywhere - so do you think you might brush your teeth?'
7. She couldn't wait to introduce him to the pleasures of a full body wax.
8. Aaarrrggghhhh (pirate style).
9. Looking deep into your eyes, I almost begin to forget my scurvy.
10. . . . He'd taken her the same way as he looted ships, 'No time wasted, straight up alongside, every gun brought to play, and the prize boarded'.
11. He didn't look very bright, but she was too stoned and unsuitably dressed to care.

Any ideas why this would not come out as a poll?

I wonder if you have to start a new topic to get a poll. Would you like me to put up the poll? I could probably get it done today.

Yes please! That would be WONDERFUL. The only thing I like about computing is the spell-check. I'm such a non-techie person. Cheers -
