This is why you're huge...

Post by Misfit » Fri October 22nd, 2010, 3:29 pm

I spotted this blog at a comment from a friend at Goodreads and stuck it in my reader for fun. Thought I'd share, but be warned there are some seriously evil looking burgers and stuff there, let alone desserts like today's Little Debbie Casserole.

Image
Little Debbie Casserole (via Kyle Anderson)

1 package of Toll House Chocolate-Filled Chocolate Chip Cookies, 1 Layer of Oatmeal Cream Pies, 1 Layer of Butterscotch Krimpets, 1 Layer of Swiss Cake Rolls/Funnybones, 1 Layer of Honey Buns/Zebra Cakes, Topped with Tasty Kakes and 1 package of Reese’s Peanut Butter Morsels sprinkled throughout.
Or yesterday's friend peanut butter and banana sandwich

Anyone want to try and eat this burger?

I have to admit those desserts look tempting, but then I have a pretty serious sweet tooth. :) Luckily I don't indulge it too often, or I probably would be huge!!! I'd like to try the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, I absolutely love peanut butter. Would definitely need a big glass of milk with it!!

I heard Michael Bloomberg (mayor of NYC) on a radio program a few weeks ago. He mentioned that his mother (who is a centenarian) eats peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches regularly. So I guess there's something to be said for them! (I'm pretty sure he said bacon, although they are Jewish, so I'm not too sure about that. Unless it's beef or turkey bacon, or perhaps they don't keep kosher.....)

You know, I never have tried making a PB & banana sandwich. Might have to rectify it, although the one in the picture looks awfully tempting.
Love Little Debbie's Oatmeal cookies with creme centers....
I don't particularly care for Little Debbie's treats, they taste a little too lard-ish for me. But they make great (and cheap!) snacks for my Sunday School class. :)

Doesn't it, though? I wonder what kind of bread or cake that is that they've got it wrapped and fried in?

Some of those things look like what Adam Richman would take on as a challenge on "Man Vs. Food", that show is like a train wreck, it's disgusting what he does to his body but it's hard to look away!
