I finished "The Ghost Writer" last night, and will shortly be starting "Mariana" by Susanna Kearsley.

Got the review up for The Countess and the King by Susan Holloway Scott, and it turned out to be my favourite of the series so far. Gulped down CryoBurn by Lois McMaster Bujold last night in one big reading session. Whew, that woman can write a damn fine novel.

Didn't someone mention Mist in the Mirror by Susan Hill? Now I can't find that post. It sounded intriguing so I went to the library, but they didn't have that one. i got The Man in the Picture instead, and read it this afternoon. Very good.

Nefertiti by Michelle Moran
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Every time I see that word I can't help but thinking of "Bohemian Rhapsody"!

Half way through The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing (Marilyn Durham) - it's quite an unusual Western novel

I remember I enjoyed that one, but not much else about it. Reckon it must have been about 30 years ago I read it!

Yes it was me! Unfortunately I was unable to reach it in the depths of tbr piles  , so opted for the more accessible Mariana instead, and I edited my post.

I'm just about to start Isabella Moon by Laura Benedict. It sounds appropriate for this time year as I believe it has a supernatural element!
