language joke
My favorite language joke is in about American Sign Language. A nurse was caring for a Deaf man. She wanted him to roll over, but didn't know how to sign it. She just showed (left palm up, right palm down, reverse hands). She wondered why the guy went into hysterics. Later the mans wife explained that she just told him he was going to die (thats the sign for die)

Great link, Kveto. As a child of the '60s, I especially appreciate the student who, in response to the question, "What are vibrations?" said that good vibrations were discovered during the '60s! I will try to hang onto them.

Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info
