Richard Warren Field - Belated Introduction

Post by RichardWarrenField » Mon September 6th, 2010, 12:43 am

I've been posting here for about a month, mainly about "The Pillars of the Earth" mini-series - I found this group while searching for discussions about it. But this looks like a great group... and I figured I ought to check in.

I'm Richard Warren Field from Southern California. My novel about the Third Crusade, THE SWORDS OF FAITH, was published in July. I am working on the follow-up, THE SULTAN AND THE KHAN, set about 70 years later.

I love reading about just about anything, from books about quantum physics to Perry Mason mysteries. I'm also a musician, with similarly broad tastes (just about anything except opera and country music).

I look forward to getting into the discussions...

Hi Richard. Any chance you're descended from Richard Warren of Mayflower fame?

Edited to add: country music has a bad reputation, but it's not all as bad/corny as people think. I'm eclectic in my music tastes as well.

Welcome, Richard! I grew up with country music and still have a soft spot in my heart for it. Good luck with your books!
