I've read today that the BBC is to adapt Sebastian Faulks' "Birdsong" for TV and, on a slightly lighter note, they're also filming the Henry James short story "Oh Whistle and I'll Come to You", although apparently it will be a modern version, hmm.

Yes I saw that too. That'll cost them a pretty penny. :D No idea who's in it yet though.

They're also doing a theatrical adaptation. God knows how!
