e reader questions
If you like something small and convenient to carry around in your purse, and you don't care about wifi, I would suggest the Sony Pocket Reader. It's comparable to the experience of reading a mmp. It's easy to import Gutenberg epub files as well as pdf. I've even imported word docs saved as rtf files and it reads those just fine. I do sometimes wish I had a kindle for synching books from my ipad. You can sync from one device to another and resume wherever you left off. I like the ipad for reading at home, but don't like carrying it around. I still prefer reading on the Sony because the eink is much easier on the eyes.
They were advertising the Kindle on TV here last night - getting ready for the Xmas market I suppose.
As they are advertising on TV, it is a shame that both Kindles are actually out of stock on .co.uk and they can't give a date when an order will be fulfilled. Well, I suppose it's one way of doing business
