Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favourite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!

Research wise? Flying with the Royal Flying Corps in 1917. Reading wise? Flying with the Lafayette Escadrille in 1917. And no, I didn't plan it that way.

I'm in Salem in 1996 with the Red Hats and the Calvinists. Some poor girl has just gone missing - lucky escape if you ask me!
