I had to laugh at the above because it is so spot on lol. I also got tired of the fishy woman that did drive me nuts and the 'channeling of Joan of Arc (giggles).
The first part of the book is spent on Margaret and her Joan of Arc morphing which annoyed me. But I did enjoy PG's interpretation of Thomas Stanley but then again I have always loved a good villian. What I don't understand and perhaps it is because she writes in the first person is
WHY does Margaret send treasonous letters to everyone but the Pope? I also enjoyed her hinting about the Princes in the Tower(but will leave it there as I don't want to spoil anyone's reading).
I will be looking forward to the next novel in the Cousins trilogy.
