A journey into an unknown region

Post by maatbook » Tue July 13th, 2010, 3:07 pm

Hello fellow readers

I am going to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in January of next year. I have never been to this part of the world before and am particularly excited about visiting the temples at Angkor. I was wondering whether anyone had experiences they were willing to share with me and maybe some dos and don'ts.

Interest in HF: I can't answer this in 100 characters. Sorry.
Favourite HF book: Checkmate, the final novel in the Lymond series
Preferred HF: Literary novels. Late medieval and Renaissance.
Location: Catskill, New York, USA

Haven't been there, but it sounds like a very cool trip! Be sure and share your impressions with us when you get back.
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info
